Basketbal

Basketball is a team sport where two teams, typically composed of five players each, compete to score points by shooting a ball through the opposing team’s hoop or basket. The game is played on a rectangular court with a hoop at each end. Players can move the ball by dribbling (bouncing the ball) or passing to teammates. Scoring can occur by making field goals (worth two or three points depending on the distance from the basket) or free throws (worth one point). The sport emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and individual skills such as shooting, passing, and defense. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. Basketball is globally popular, with professional leagues, international competitions, and widespread participation at amateur levels.
