KAT-TUN

KAT-TUN is a Japanese pop music group formed by Johnny & Associates in 2001. The name “KAT-TUN” is an acronym formed from the initials of its original members: Kamenashi Kazuya, Akanishi Jin, Taguchi Junnosuke, Tanaka Koki, Ueda Tatsuya, and Nagase Tomoya (later members included only Kamenashi, Taguchi, Ueda, and a few others as membership changed over time). The group is known for its unique blend of musical styles, incorporating elements of pop, rock, and hip-hop, along with intricate choreography and strong vocal performances. KAT-TUN has released numerous albums and singles, achieving significant commercial success in Japan and developing a dedicated fan base both domestically and internationally.
